Todd Rundgren And Daryl Hall Reunited!
As Todd fans know, his latest album “White Knight” is full of great collaborations, so it’s exciting to have his duet with Daryl Hall out on video!
“White Knight” Is Here!
Todd’s new studio album has gotten a lot of press lately – he collaborates with everyone from Joe Walsh of The Eagles to Trent Razor and Donald Fagen of Steely Dan. It’s a great album full of terrific Todd songs, but my favorite is his collaboration with longtime friend Daryl Hall!
It’s all part of an album that takes us on Todd’s unique musical journey:
As Billboard reports:
“White Knight is, in fact, filled with cool collaborations, including Robyn, Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, Joe Walsh, Bettye Lavette, Joe Satriani, Dam Funk and others. “I wasn’t interested in doing a duets album,” Rundgren notes. “I wasn’t interested in singing over the top of somebody else, or vice versa. I wanted to highlight all of the collaborators and create a space for them to do their thing without me kind of undercutting it.”
Here is the video for “Chance For Us”, filmed “Live At Daryl’s House” – it’s a beautiful song with a real Philly soul feel to it:
As I said, Todd’s getting a lot of press for his latest album. Here is the entire article in Billboard:

Todd’s friendship with Daryl Hall goes way back, and he has been a guest on “Live From Daryl’s House” twice –
I particularly loved when the show travelled to Hawaii to hang with Todd – see some highlights here:
Todd also produced one of the earlier Daryl Hall and John Oates albums:
A critical and commercial failure at the time, it has become another classic H&O album – here is a look at it, as well as a few other Todd producing efforts:
